Although it was very dry in this area during the summer of 2002, 2001 was a different story. This is a picture of a running trickle of water from a small spring just up the same ravine that crosses our lot. An old iron pipe can still be found nearby from years ago when ranchers captured the water in a tank for their cattle.
I found these flowers growing among the rocks near the spring.
